Today I faced change and it was tough, but I know it will be worth it, because with change comes growth.
There has been days where I have prayed for signs, whisper in the wind twice to stay, birds sing in the trees three times to let go, and after holding onto the delusional hope that this may actually advise me to a better life, I gave up on finding reason and just let life happen. Living for a clue as to what might happen is wasted energy, life is not meant to be a guessing game but a well played, victorious one!
What is the biggest challenge we face when looking at change? The fact that pain will be apart of these choices, whether you like it or not. Pain is the biggest road blocker when we are determining change. Perhaps pain from the past, or pain of letting go, which ever it may be it will be worth what is on the other side.
As I faced my reality today, I took a deep breathe and embraced every moment of it. I swallowed it whole, felt every emotion and let it go.
As ma use to say no point crying over spilt milk..
Life’s too short to be fearful of change, if it feels right in the centre of your being take it and don’t look back
